ALL ITEMS SHIP FREE WITHIN THE US! This is a picture of Spike that I have framed in a vintage stamped brass square. I have dressed it up with old watch parts to give it a bit of a Steampunk look. This necklace measures 2" high" and 1.75" wide; hangs from a 24" chain. We are all Bronies here, and the original idea for this shop came from watching my daughter make kick-ass pony pendants for her friends. Gradually, the idea expanded to include Disney, and many other characters and themes as well. All of our jewelry is individually handcrafted, and many of our items are one of a kind!

I know it's not Steampunk, but thanks for pointing it out, dude. That's why I said "to give it a bit of a Steampunk look" - because I like the way the gears look on jewelry and stuff.

I still like it, mind you. The song just sprang to mind when I saw it.

Yeah...I've been trying to say my stuff is "steampunk inspired", because that's obviously where I got the idea for using the gears. They just make stuff look really cool. Thanks for sharing the song :)

I believe that using steampunk as a functional aesthetic works better, if the gears were connected and appeared to have some use, then the craft would look more realistic. Of course, realism is purely optional, as these are some beautiful necklaces.

That makes sense. I agree. I'm just having fun, though. The gears themselves are actually really beautiful. I think it's amazing that these tiny little things were actually once part of a working mechanism, and yet they're so pretty on their own. While not exactly "functional", I like my Doctor Who Tardis necklaces the best, because I think that the gears look like stars or planets floating around in space
